Hi Folks!
hope you're all ok and having a great weekend? Bit hot for me so roll on cooler days... (dives for cover!).
So...here's my card...and yes, that is my name on Santa's list and looks like I'll be getting coal this year while Jamie (and Mary...whoever she is!) will be getting pressies. 'Snot fair,' that's all I have to say!
Isn't Santa absolutely fabulous?! Love, love, love him and he's great to colour. He's chilling out at home here and it looks like Mrs Claus needs to get her mending box out as he's pinged one of his braces! And he's already labelled the coal with my name...he obviously thinks I'm going to carry on being naughty over the next six months. Jamie's been a creep, though, and his pressies are already wrapped. I think it's because he's given Santa Christmas Eve off for the second year running. He says he works hard so my friend Sue has to go out with her horses and deliver everyone's pressies so that Santa and the reindeer can chillax by the pool in some nice hot country! Smart kid. By sucking up to Santa on this scale means that he gets away with murder and is never on Santa's naughty list!
I coloured Santa with my Copics and Promarkers as follows:
Copics: E00, E11 and E21
Promarkers: Cool Grey 1 & 3, Warm Grey 1, Caramel, Sandstone, Satin, Marine, Turquoise, Cool Aqua, Baby Pink, Antique Pink, Lush Green, Holly, Crimson, Berry, Amber and Gold.
I've made the easel base using my Martha Stewart Aspen around the page punches following the method demoed here.
The red card is from my stash and the paper is from a Fizzy Moon paper pad.
The dies are Memory Box Precious Stars and I've put a little faux diamond star in the centre of each.
I bought the sentiment stamp on Ebay a few years ago, but sorry, I can't remember who from and I believe she made them herself.
And that's it...simples!
So...head over to the challenge and check out what the wonderful Sunshine Girls have created with their beautiful new digis.
I will be entering this card into the following challenges:
