Hope you're all managing to survive in this heat? I'm struggling...definitely a winter girl.
Anyway, have a little bit of news for you today. Many of you will already know that the lovely Jane is leaving the Joanna Sheen Challenge. Jane was the leader of my team (Team B) and also the co host, meaning she worked alongside Paula running alternate challenges so that Paula didn't have quite so much to do. Well, Jane's left some very classy shoes to fill in and well...this welly wearing clod hopper has been chosen to try and fit into Jane's very classy shoes! Yay! Really excited about it as not only do I get to waffle on a bit on the Joanna Sheen Challenge on a daily basis (during my challenge) but I also get a little Mousie siggy!!!!!! That's all I'm doing it for really, lol. So, thank you to Paula for giving me this opportunity and also for my little Mousie siggy! :oD
Anyhoo...this challenge has the theme of 'Citrus Colurs' which could mean colours or something citrus on the image...or both. And here's my card:
The image and papers are from Joanna Sheen's wonderful House Mouse triple CD and this is what I wish I could be doing right now...sinking into a very cold glass of something yummy.
This is a very simple card using one of my favourite layouts. I've used the same paper throughout as I wanted to keep the colours/pattern clean, and the matting layer is Papermania textured cardstock.
I've used Marianne dies for the flowers and they've been finished with Hobby House pearl brads. Faux pearls have been added to balance it out a little. The stamps is from a freebie set by Personal Impressions.
House Mouse images are just so fabulous that they don't need much doing to them to show them off and they're so much fun to use. The Triple CD is a MUST HAVE!
So...all you need to do is head over to the Joanna Sheen Challenge and take a look at my teamies' gorgeous inspirational porjects. Then go and dig out some citrus themed stuff and get crafting! The random winner will receive a £15 voucher to spend at Joanna Sheen .com and the site's packed with fabulous goodies so it's a brilliant prize. And don't forget, if you'd love to join the DT as a Guest DT member put GDT after your name as you enter and you may be chosen!
Hope you like my card. Come back soon to see what I make next.
Take care & happy crafting!
