Tulip Birthday Card

Hi Folks!

You all ok?  Keeping warm?  Staying safe?  Eating chocolate?

Today's card is a simple one.  I'd never looked at the Tulip stuff before, but I caught a glimpse of the PotD on C&C the other week and totally fell in love with the colours of this cd.  They're so clean and fresh and gentle.  It's by Docrafts and on the disc you also get Hot Diggity Dog and Pampered Pets...they're all gorgeous and I'm so pleased I bought it now.

The matting layers have been colour picked from the Tulip backing paper for a perfect match.

How it was put together speaks for itself.  I've just trimmed it with a lacy edged border courtesy of Martha Stewart, added some pink faux gems and made some flowers using the Spellbinders Daisy Patch (I think!) dies.  I just used one of the smallest size and two each of the next two sizes to make each flower.

The inside is decorated to match.  Simple and clean...something I find hard to achieve, lol.

Hope you like.
Take care out there if it's still slippery wherever you are.
xx
