LOTV Lavender & Lace Card.

Hi Folks!

Hope you're all ok and staying dry.  Rain's been hanging around here all day but we've managed to dodge the showers so far today.

Well, today's card is of a similar style as yesterdays.  I told you I was really liking making these lovely little 5x5 cards, didn't I?  Lol.  I've come across http://liliofthevalleythursdaychallenge.blogspot.com/ challenge and, as I love Lili of the Valley I thought I'd give it a go.

So, without further ado...
Aawwwww...it's two little loved up bunnies.  Hope they don't get too loved up or there'll be lots more little white bunnies running around!

The theme is Lavender and Lace so that's got me off on a great start with the design. Starting with a 5x5 scallop edged 5x5 card, I've again chosen to use it as a tent card.

I've gone into my MCS software and picked out a gorgeous paper which is by Bearly Mine (see list on left).    Using the MCS colour picker I have had a fiddle around and picked the colour for the matting card which suited the paper the best.

I've cut the matting card to 11.5 cm square and the paper to 11 cm square and used this on the front and inside.  For the inside I've cut a circle from the centre of the paper and added a sentiment.

I then cut an 11 cm strip of white Papermania textured card and 'laced' both sides using a Martha Stewart punch.

I've stamped out my little bunny image and coloured it in using promarkers then matted it onto another square of the backing card.

Because the paper and the topper are so lovely, all it needed to finish off was a little sentiment which I cut using Spellbinders circle and lacy circle dies, a little white double bow and a couple of lavender faux gems.

I think it's so pretty and cute.
