Times Gone By Christmas.

Hi Folks!

hope you're all warm enough?  At least when you're crafting it takes your mind off how cold it is, doesn't it?

For today's card I've used the beautiful CD called Times Gone By from Joanna Sheen.  I really love these CDs as they have the most incredible images and papers with so much nostalgia.

As you can see, I've kept this one nice and simple as this sort of artwork really doesn't need that much fiddling around as it looks stunning anyway.

I've just used gold mirror card for the matting layers, then the papers (which is lovely) and image (which is even more lovely) are from the CDs.

I have cut a gold mirror card strip for the bottom, then a narrower strip in dark gold glitter card.  The gorgeous snowflake is cut out of the same dark gold glitter card using Spellbinders dies in the smallest two sizes, which I've layered together.  Then I've added a faux gem to the centre of the snowflake and three more to the other end of the band.  The sentiment was a shop bought one.  Simple but effective.

I'm entering this card into the following challenge:
Emma's Crafty Challenge where this month's theme is 'Let it Snow!'

Take care everyone and happy crafting!
xx

    1. Hi Joan. This CD is absolutely jam packed with fabulous images. It features the work of Glynn Williams and is stunning...I use it a lot. It's not on Joanna's site at the moment but I've just spotted it in several places via Google. There's a gallery on Joanna's forum with some of the artwork...but this is just a fraction of what you get.
