hope you're all ok and being flooded out again? We've had some very heavy rain here (in between the bursts of sunshine) but aren't doing too badly. Managed to get into town without being drowned this morning and posted off the last orders for this Christmas...and that's it now! Apart from doing a few more cards for me to send out to friends, then all the Christmas stuff I do from now on will be for next Christmas. It's fabulous to have the pressure off at last, phew! Hope you're all up with what you need to be doing so that you can relax and start enjoying yourselves.
Today's card is from the same, fantastic double CD set as I used yesterday, Joanna Sheen's Times Gone By. If you don't have it, you really do need to get hold of a copy as it's fantastic for really beautiful quick cards for men and women. It covers so much and the artwork's so incredible you don't have to fuss too much over the embellishments, as you can see.
All I've needed to do to this was matt onto silver mirror card (inside matches front) and cut some lovely snowflakes from Spellbinders' Snowflake Pendant set. I just used the two smallest sizes for these ones and cut them of of pale blue glitter card. I've also used the glitter card to mat the sentiment. And I just happened to buy the perfect matching faux gems the other day, so I've put them to good use.
Just shows you don't have to spend hours on a nice card nowadays. We're so lucky to have all the fabulous goodies they bring out for us crafters now.
Take care everyone & happy crafting!
