Hi everyone.
thought I'd surprise you with a second post today...just don't expect it all the time, lol.
This card features
another brand new digi from Heather Valentin...one which my little Jamie
absolutely adores. This time Pickles goes it alone with a new friend.
Think Eleanor was at the hairdressers when Heather was creating this
one...
I'm
not sure of the real name of this gorgeous little Triceratops, but
Jamie's named this one Trudy, so here's Trudy and Pickles out for a
ride.
I've coloured the image using my promarkers and
think it's come out pretty well. To colour the bulk of the Triceratops I
only used one of the green pens, which was the Olive Green. Amazing
the results you can get from just one colour, isn't it? Shows you don't
need too many to start with...just layer the colours for the shading.
The base card is a little A6 easel and I've used a paper from My Craft Studio's Floriography CD.
For
embellies I have just used some card candi and cut some flowers and
leaves from mulberry paper using Marianne dies. The sentiment was cut
using Spellbinder dies.
Now...the fabulous news is that Heather Valentin has just now launched (and I mean literally just now!) her brand new shop. It's a work in progress and she'll be adding digis to it and a gallery and other stuff as time goes on. This is the only place you can buy Heather's digis...and her dad's as well!
No one else is authorised to sell the digis, and anyone seen doing so should be reported to Heather so that she can deal with them legally. Please do not purchase the digis from anyone if you do see them being advertised. Support the artist!!! Heather's brand spanking new shop can be found Here and if you look on her Lacy Sunshine blog here you'll see a special little offer of a gift for you!
I'd like to wish Heather all the very best of luck with her new venture.xx
A nice, simple, fun little card. Hope you like it.
Take care and happy crafting!
