Faye Whittaker Card.

Hi Folks!

Hope you're all ok.  Lovely to see that we had a visitor on here from New Zealand a few hours ago!  Beautiful country and lovely people.  My Uncle George emigrated over there with his wife almost 40 years ago now.  Seen him a few times since then and he's still nuts, lol.  Shall go and visit one day.

Anyway, today's card was made using Joanna Sheen's Faye Whittaker CD which is absolutely lush.  I love the artwork in this, and the colours...perfect.  And this is a cheeky one...just about my favourite image, lol.

I just love the faux stitching on this one.  I did it using my MCS software and the text function with the dash.  I then paper pricked between the stitches to give it a more realistic look and I think that did the trick nicely.  It's subtle faux stitching but finishes it off nicely.

This is a very simple card but looks so effective.  The paper lace was made using a Martha Stewart punch.  The sentiments were created using MCS and then cut out using Spellbinders circles and lacy circle dies.

The roses and silver filigree corners are from Wild Orchid (link in bar on right), and the faux pearls are from my stash.  Decorate inside to match and there you go...job done.

Enjoy the rest of you day everyone.
Take care & happy crafting!
xx
