Jamie's Birthday Card.

Hi Folk!

Hope you're all ok?

Had a hectic few days as it was my little lad's 6th birthday and we took him to the Welsh Mountain Zoo on Thursday (day before his birthday) and then he was poorly right through the nights before and after his birthday.  I'm hoping he's ok now, though, as we're both shattered.  He still had a lovely day, though, and had fun playing with his lego dinosaurs, looking at his Dinosaur Cove books, playing with an activity book and planning how to spend his money, lol.  He's decided and it will be on cuddly dinosaurs at Chester Zoo, lol.

Anyway, this is the card I made him.  I know I won't get away with cute cards for much longer so thought I'd make this extra cute for him.  Next year it'll probably be a picture of a Utahraptor feasting on a baby triceratops, lol.

Awwwww, it's scruffy little Tatty Teddy!  Jamie still loves this little guy so it was fitting for what will probably be his last gore free card, lol.

The image, paper and sentiment are from Docrafts Tatty Teddy Especially For You CD set, and the inside matches the front.

The matting layer is colour picked from the image, and the wording (Jamie was added in the Digital Designer programme using one of their alphabets and then glittered.

The filigree corner is from Wild Orchid and the dragonfly was cut using a Doo Hickey die.

The faux gems and pearls are from my stash.

Can't believe that my little man's now 6 years old.  Only seems like five minutes since he was a tiny little rug rat and now he's a big lad, bless him.

Hope you all have a great weekend.
Happy Crafting!
xx

  1. Great card for Jamie. I was expecting a Dinosaur on there somewhere. Hope Jamie is feeling better and tonight is one for sleeping for both of you.
