Long Gone Holidays.

Hi Folks!

Hope you're all having a good weekend?  Mine started off well as we went for a walk along the beach and then on to a little wildlife pond where we've been watching the tadpoles develop.  They now have teeny weeny little back legs and they're so cute.  Can't wait until they're tiny little frogs but they'll probably hop off as soon as they can so we'll miss them.  We'll see.

Today's cards is one I've made using The Faye Whittaker Collection by Joanna Sheen.  It's an absolutely beautiful double CD jam packed with gorgeous, vintage images from days gone by.  No...that is NOT a photo of me flashing my butt!  Lol.

This card is so simple and I've allowed the artwork and doily to do most of the work.

The base is a 6x6 scalloped edge, and I've used some core'dinations for the matting and layering.  The paper is also from the CD.  The topper layer is raised on foam pads, the sentiment was cut using my Spellbinders, and the faux pearls and the ribbon for the double bow were from my stash.  The inside is decorated to match.  And that's it...looks like it's pretty busy but there's very little there really...just the way I'm liking it at the moment.  I was going to pinch some shells from my son's stash, but he caught me and I was told off...oops!

I'm entering this card into the following challenges:

Joanna Sheen's Challenge where the theme is 'Remember When...' which has had me singing the Showaddywaddy song since I saw it, lol.
Allsorts Challenge where the theme is 'By the Seaside.'

Enjoy the rest of your weekend.
Happy Crafting.
xx
