Hope you're all bright eyed and bushy tailed this morning.
Today's card is my Design Team card for the Cards Galore Challenge which can be found here The theme for this month is Colour Inspiration where you need to use the four stipulated colours plus either white, gold or silver. And the prize is fab as it's Wellington goodies!!!! I love Wellington so it's a brilliant prize and I'm gutted I can't enter, lol.
So...here's my card:
As you can see the colours are too die for...some of my absolute favourites.
I have started with a scallop edged 6x6 base card and used purple textured cardstock from Papermania and some lovely bright pink pearlescent card from my stash for the matting and layering. I picked a paper from MCS (can't remember which one) and colourised it, then lay a square doily over the top.
The image is Magnolia Tilda and her bunny and I have coloured it using my promarkers.
The flowers are from Papermania and the butterfly is cut using a Doo Hickey die on glitter card. The sentiment is from my Anna Griffin stamp set, and I have used Spellbinders dies to cut the layers for that. The inside is decorated to match the front.
Have to say I'm quite pleased with this one. Hope you like it to and that it inspires you to join in with the Cards Galore Challenge this month. Best of luck if you do enter...it's a fab prize.
I am entering this card in the Crafters Companion Monthly Challenge where the theme is 'Time to Embellish.'
Also the Love to Create Challenge where the theme is 'Add a Sentiment.'
And Make it Monday.
Happy Crafting everyone!
