Spotlight Stamping Happy Hopper Card

Hi Folks!

Hope you're all ok?  All well at this end...bit wet but it's nice to have some cooler weather.

Today's card features a technique called Spotlight Stamping.  It's where you stamp an image twice and then pick an area and cut it out on one of the images and then you colour that image and leave the whole image uncoloured, then you just layer the coloured part over the uncoloured part.

Make sense now?  Awwwww, look at the little bunny wabbit...she's not sharing her cake!  Can't say I blame her as I wouldn't share mine either, lol.  The circular spotlit bit is actually lined up with the lower image but as it's at an angle it looks slightly awry.  One day I'll get the hang of this photography malarky and craft to compensate.

I've explained how to do the spotlight stamping so won't go through that again.  Surfice it to say I used my promarkers to do the colouring in.

The background is from a Fizzy Moon set, the pink textured card is from Papermania, as are the little glittery flowers.  I have used a Martha Stewart punch on white Papermania textured card for the lace panels.  The ribbon (absolutely gorgeous colour) is from my stash, as are the faux pearls.  I have Spellbinders to thank for the die cuts for the sentiment, which is a stamp from the freebie Teddy Bo & Co set.  The inside is decorated to match the front.

I am entering this card into the following challenges:

Crafty Bloggers Network where the theme is 'spotlight stamping.'
Allsorts Challenge where the theme is 'special birthday.'

Happy crafting everyone...I'll be back!
xx
