Beatrix Potter Mouse Card.

Hi Folks!

Hope you're all ok and enjoying the sunshine?

Things are getting better here.  I have my 'new' new laptop and have set it all up (or most of it) and all seems to be going ok so far <touch wood>.  I'll be backing every single thing up every day, though, as it's going to take a long time to trust this one.

Other plans are coming together.  Me and my son will be heading off to live in Yorkshire in the next few months and we're both seriously excited about that.  We have so much to look forward to and we're going to make sure we have a fab time.

Anyway...today's card was made using Crafter's Companion Appley Dapply's Nursery Rhymes CD which features the work of Beatrix Potter...like you didn't all know that anyway!

Not sure which of the mice this is, but she's seriously cute and I couldn't resist using her today.  The papers are from the CD as well, though the lighter one has been colourised to make it lighter (it started off the same as the darker one).

The flowers are from Wild Orchid and the brads and faux pearls are from my stash.

I decided that less is more today, so it's a very simple card but I really like it because the image is just so perfect.

Hope you like it too.
xx
