Lil Sue Design Team Project.

Hi Folks!

Hope you're all managing to keep warm and dry.  What a horrible day!

I've been keeping myself busy doing some crafting and I've just finished this project which is for the Scrapbook Stamp Society design team.  I have chosen the gorgeous Lil Sue digi by Heather Valentin which can be found  here.

Isn't she just gorgeous?  And she's so easy to colour as well.  I've used promarkers and then added a little bit of glitter on her wings to give them some sparkle.

The backing paper is from Bearly Mine (link on the right) and, although it's not clear in the pic, it's pale pink background with pink edged black butterflies.

The base card is cut out of white supersmooth, and the pink card is Hunkydory pink silk art card.

I have used my Spellbinders circle, scalloped circle and lacy circle dies to cut the layers.

The sentiment stamp is from the fabulous Lili of the Valley site (link on right)

I have put it together using pinflair and foam pads, and finished it off with a rose pink double bow.  I was going to add some faux gems but there are times when extra touches like that just aren't needed and, in my opinion, this was one of those times.

All in all, a very girly card which really shows off Lil Sue, I think.

Right...off to put on my fluffy socks as my feet are freezing!
Take care.
xx

    1. I think I used Satin, Sandstone and a tiny bit of Cinnamon. Definitely the first two anyway. I'm going to have to start listing the colours on here. Thanks for bringing that up Droxie!
