Hellooo!  Hope you've all had a fab day?

Weather's not too bad today (windy but dry) so we took the pooch for a walk along by the sea where we almost got blown away.  Nice and mild, though, so can't really complain...much!

Been busy crafting away today and here is one of the cards I have come up with.

This 6 x 6 (approx) card features the Warren Rabbit bunny with watering can.  I layered this onto a white lacey circle (Spellbinders) die cut which I had glittered around the edge.  I then layered that onto a silver mirror card lacey circle die cut so that it doesn't line up.  The card base is plain white then matted with silver mirror card.  I have then used a selection of freebie papers which came with Simply Cards & Papercrafts magazine -The NitWits Collection.   So I used one of the papers to cover the whole area, and two I cut into strips 2 inches wide.  I then layered them onto more silver mirror card.  I lay these over the top of a gorgeous, square doily and positioned the topper in the centre.  The sentiment stamp is from Lily of the Valley, the card candi is from ebay, and the filigree metal butterfly is from a local craft shop.  I made the flower using cutting dies and mulberry paper and put more card candi in the centre.  I quite like this.  It's using colours I wouldn't usually select but I'm liking the look.  Shall have to become more adventurous with my use of colours and see what else I can come up with.

Hope you all enjoy the rest of your day.

  2. You certainly did. It's easy when you know how.

I'll be doing quite a few bunny cards as I know a lot of bunny loving people. Good job they're cute, isn't it?
