Food For Thought - Joanna Sheen Challenge DT Card

Morning everyone!

Yes...it's me!  Still around but been really busy and also enjoying the rest of our holiday in The Lakes.  Me and Jamie had the most wonderful time possible and were gutted to have to leave for home.  But we'll be going back up for a few day trips over the winter months and hope to go again for another holiday in May...depending on when we move south.

Don't forget that it's Fortnightly Blog Candy day over at Scribble and Scrap so don't forget to head over there if you fancy the chance of winning a £10 voucher!

Anyway...today's the start of a new challenge over at the Joanna Sheen Challenge Blog and the theme for this time is 'Food for Thought,' which means there are endless opportunities especially if you're using a Joanna Sheen product which gives you the chance of winning the random prize of a £15 voucher to spend at www.joannasheen.com.   Looking forward to seeing all your projects so get cracking and go and give me something to spotlight!  :o)

Anyoo...onto my project.  Think my mojo's still on holiday but I have managed to come up with this simple card:

I've used an image from the House Mouse Triple CD Collection by Joanna Sheen for this one and both the paper and the fabulous image come from the CD.

I have colour picked from the paper to get the perfect pink for the matting layers.

The sentiment was created on my lappy, the faux pearls and butterfly brad were from my stash and the flower is from Wild Orchid.

I used Spellbinders circle and scalloped circle dies for the sentiment and the balloons were cut using a gorgeous die from Impression Obsessions.

And voila...a quick and simple but (I hope) pretty card featuring the food I think about most...cake!  :o)

Hope you like it and head over to join us in the new challenge.  Good luck.

Take care everyone and happy crafting!
xx
