Hope you're all ok? I've been busy, busy, busy this last week. My crafting mojo seems to have taken a hike BUT my designing one hasn't so I've been designing lots of lovely things which you'll know about soon. I'm also learning to draw which is taking up quite a bit of time as I have zero natural talent, lol. But...I'm slowly getting there and maybe I'll show you something I've done soon...or maybe not! :o)
Anyway, I've scraped enough mojo together to come up with a quick little card today and here it is:
And it was a quick card as I used one of the gorgeous Wee toppers which are available precoloured from The Hobby House. I usually like colouring my own images as I love colouring, but there isn't always enough time and people don't always want to pay for cards which have taken hours and hours, do they? So this is a great option and I thought I would give them a go. I bought a selection to try out (and LOTV pads) and they're all fabulous so well worth getting some for those quick cards if you've not tried them already.
I've used the topper as it came but backed it onto some red Core'dinations Premium Textured Cardstock from the Parisian Nights set. It's strange as it's nothing like normal Core'dinations and is more like paper but is textured and has lovely rich colours. I've used it for the matting layers and the die cuts.
The paper is one I created myself and I have used this on the inside as well.
The dies I used were Memory Box Precious Mittens and Frosted Christmas Tree and I cut the tree down to size to fit in the corner.
The sentiment was created on my lappy, the embossing was created using a Cuttlebug folder and the faux gems were from my stash, and that's it...a very quick card!
I am entering this card into the following challenge:

Right...back to the grindstone!
Take care everyone & happy crafting!
