Eleanor & Pickles Hula Dancing - White on White Card

Hi Folks!

Hope you're all ok and crafting away your weekend?

I've been busy, busy, busy at this end and having a ball but I've managed to make a card today.  I've used one of Heather Valentins incredible new digis - Eleanor & Pickles Hula Dancing!  This digi (as with all Heather's digis) is only officially available from Heather's Lacy Sunshine store, which is packed with fabulous digis and more will be added today.  Anyone else selling Heather's digis are doing so illegally, so please only purchase from Lacy Sunshine.

Also...we have another week left to run on the present challenge before the next one begins (a week Sunday).  So if you've not done so already, head over and have a look Lacy Sunshine Challenge .

Anyhoo...here's today's card:

Not too sure about this one but it looks ok in the photo.  I set some friends of mine a little challenge of doing a white on white card with a coloured image, and here's my entry into the challenge.  I bet I get voted nil points as the winner gets to choose our next challenge.  I chose this one and no one's happy with it, lol.  White on white's soooooo pretty, though.

Anyway, I've used a plain white card blank and supersmooth card for the Spellbinders Daisy Patch die cuts.  The Marianne die has been used to cut two corners from a piece of thingy wotsit...oh, what's it called?  Centura Pearl...that's it, lol.

I've added some white feathers and white pearls and hat pins with white pearl heads.

The Eleanor & Pickles has been coloured using my Promarkers...let's see how many I can remember:

Skin: Coral, Sunkissed Pink, Blush
Cheeks:  Baby Pink
Lips:  Sunkissed Pink and Baby Pink
Eyes:  Forest Green, Bright Green, Lime Green
Pickles' Eyes and Top:  Cool Aqua
Hair:  Walnut, Cocoa and Cinnamon
Pickle's Skin: Emerald, Apple and Meadow Green
Grass Skirts:  Caramel, Sandstone and Satin
Purples:  Plum, Purple, Amethyst, Orchid
Yellows:  Canary, Lemon and Primrose

Think that's just about it.

I've framed the image by using my Spellbinders circle and Lacy Circle dies and I have given the middle layer a coating of white glitter to liven it up a little.

Right...off to do some work.

Take care and happy crafting!
xx

  16. Another Stunner, Lexie, loving that image, hoping to get my card finished for the challenge done today or tomorrow, did not realise having so many children in the house at 1 time would block my crafting,, have the image coloured, papers chosen, just need, to put it together, love these digis, and was lucky enough to get some of the $1 bargain ones xxxx
