Hope you're all ok? Coping with the snow/heat ok?
Today's card is made using one of my favourite colour combos. I've always loved pink and grey together but realised that I've never (I think) used it for a card...so today I did!
I've used one of Heather Valentin's retiring digs which is on sale at her Lacy Sunshine store in the $1 section. There are some real bargains in there so head over and grab some great digis at knock down prices!
And here's the card:
Isn't Emily pretty? This is such a lovely digi, especially done in softer colours.
I've coloured her using my promarkers as follows:
Skin - Coral, Sunkissed Pink and Blush
Hair - Caramel, Sandstone and Satin
Eyes - Marine, Turquoise and Cool Aqua
Lips - Antique Pink and Baby Pink
Pinks in umbrella and outfit - Antique Pink, Baby Pink and Blender
Greys - all Cool Greys
Puddles and rain - Cool Aqua and Blender.
The grey matting layer is Papermania Textured cardstock and the backing paper was a freebie from a mag. I cut the lattice using a Martha Stewart punch and the ribbon is from my stash.
The flowers were made with Cheery Lynns Large Rose dies...a little pressie to myself! I've cut them out of a bit of patterned scrap paper and fixed them together with silver brads.
I decided not to add a sentiment to this one. I like the clean look of it as it is and leaving it blank will mean it can be used for any situation.
I'm entering this card into the following challenges:
http://challenges4everybody.blogspot.com.es/ where the theme is 'Anything Goes.'

Hope you like Emily. Don't forget you can go and grab her for £1 at the Lacy Sunshine store.
Take care everyone.
Happy crafting!
xx
