Hope you're all managing to keep warm. It definitely seems to be colder today...around here anyway.
Today's card is another featuring a Wee Stamps digi image. It's one I've used a lot before because it's just so beautiful and is a lovely one to colour. She's called Winter Fairy and is such a cutie. You're going to have to use your imagination a bit with this one, as the colours haven't photographed very well. I had spent ages picking out backing papers and working on a layout, but then I decided to change the red matting layer for a slightly darker one (a core'dinations card) and it was a bit of a wow! moment when I put it with the gold so I decided to go for a 5 x 5 card instead of a 6 x 6 and to ditch the backing papers. The red and gold look fab in the flesh but they've not come up all that well in the pics, which is a shame. Can't remember which Core'dinations pack it's from as mine have managed to get themselves all jumbled (same as most things in my craft room, lol) but it's so lovely that I decided not to even emboss it as it's perfect as it is.
So...here it is:
An absolutely simple card but which looks and feels fab in the hand.
The image is coloured with Promarkers and I've glittered the relevant bits.
I've matted and layered the bought sentiment to go with the rest of the card and slapped on a spare Poinsettia that I had left over from yesterday...and that's it...simples.
Whoever I sent this one to will agree (I'm sure) that it looks a lot better in the flesh, and it feels so luxurious and expensive. Shame I didn't get a better pic, but I'm sure most of you can imagine how great the red card and gold mirror card look in real life.
Take care everyone & happy crafting!
