Hi Folks!
Hope you're all ok and not frantically running around doing last minute shopping!
Today's card features one of Heather Valentin's lovely new digis. It's called Eleanor & Pickles Celebrations 2013 and can only be bought exclusively from Heather herself at Lacy Sunshine. Please let Heather know if you see these images being offered for sale or free elsewhere.
I've tried to use different colours from my norm on this one, and it is a little bit rushed, unfortunately. Love the image but not too sure what I think of the card. As you can see, poor Pickles looks a little poorly so he must have drained that glass. Actually, for some reason the camera has changed my green promarker colouring into a more yellow colour, but it IS green...honest! I have put colour on the glass too, but doesn't seem to be showing up on the photo. I definitely need a new camera.
Anyway...Eleanor is wearing a rather fetching pale blue dress with matching shoes and glasses. There are some lovely 'green' glittery stars in her hair and on her dress and she looks very, very pretty. Pickles is looking very dapper in a matching outfit with some nice glittery bits on his hat.
This fabulous digi image really does deserve a much better card than this, but today's been hectic and I just couldn't keep my hands off it any longer so had to rush it. With luck I'll be able to get another version done before New Year!
I'm entering this card into the following challenge:
http://sweetstampinchallengeblog.blogspot.co.uk/ where the theme is 'Seeing Double.'
Take care everyone & happy crafting!
xx

ReplyDeleteWish I could rush a card a nicely as that. My scanner turns green into yellow sometimes. Me and my camera are not the best of friends ha ha.
