Happy Hopper Birthday Card.

Hi Folks!

Hope you're all having a great day?  I certainly am.

This morning, me and Jamie went to Cheshire Oakes to meet up with Linda Simpson and we had a good old natter.  We went up market and had a diet coke in Mc D's, lol.  Jamie was thrilled with that as he's never been in Mc D's before so he thought it was fab.  Even better, Linda had bought him a big tube of Jelly Tots!

She bought some pressies for me as well.  An Ebosser (I paid for that!  Lol) and a brand new CD from the Kraftyhands Lads!  So, after a good old gossip we headed home where I put the new CD straight onto my lappy...and it's fabulous.  I'm allowed to give you a bit of a sneaky peak so have a quick look at this  sneaky peek.  Ooh...steam punk!  It's not officially released until mid November but will be on sale at the NEC so grab a copy there and be ahead of everyone else!

Also...I'm so excited as I've won the challenge over at Emma's Crafty Challenge and the prize is fabulous as it's an MDF Advent Calendar Kit.  I was going to make Jamie a cardboard one but this will last much more than one Christmas, so we're both excited.  Thanks Emma! xx

Anyway, today's card is one I made for one of my crafty friends' (yes, I have more than one!  Lol) Birthday.  Yes, Debbie is 101 years old today!  Woohoo for Debbie!  Ok, she's not that old really, but...

And here's her card.

Awww, it's one of the Happy Hopper gang stuffing his face.  It's a nice, clean and simple one so doesn't take much explaining.

The stamp is a woodbacked one, not available yet on the sheets, but there are lots more of them here and they're all gorgeous to stamp and colour.

I used Promarkers to colour this one in.  The pink paper's from my stash and the flowery one is from one of the Wild Rose Studio paper pads.  The flower was from Wild Orchid and the brad was from my stash...as were the pearls.

The sentiment is from my stash and has been layered onto some pink Papermania Textured Cardstock, which I have used for all the matting.

The inside is decorated to match the front...simples.

Right...off to see what other exciting things I can get up to today.

Take care everyone...happy crafting!
xx

  2. Thanks Linny.

My Ebosser is my Christmas pressie from my son, but he's only 6 so I overruled him on the 'you have to wait' debate, lol.

It's well worth waiting for, though.

  6. Well this is just lovely and fancy telling everyone Debbie was 100 that is so cruel. A lady never reveal their age. She does look younger than you though :P!!!

Joking aside this is just gorgeous again Lexie. It was great to meet you again and have a good catch up.

    Hugs to you both
