My goodness...it's cold today but lovely and sunny.
After posting my DT card for the Joanna Sheen Challenge the other day, I was asked if I could do a Christmas version for someone. They don't mind me posting it, so here it is:
Awwww...look at the cheeky little meeces! How could anyone resist them?
I've used the fabulous Joanna Sheen House Mouse Christmas Project Book and CD, which is a must have if you don't already have it! You can buy it from the Joanna Sheen site and there's a link in the panel over to the right.
I've made this in exactly the same way as I made the other one (a couple of posts back) but used paper from the CD and some lovely red Papermania Textured cardstock.
The snowflakes are cut from white glitter card using a Spellbinders snowflake die and then I've added a faux pearl in the centre. There are further faux pearls in the corner.
The matting layers were cut using the Cheery Lynn Mega Doily Mini Pearl Square dies, which are really handy to have around. They're a little fiddly to use as they are only half the shape, but you soon get used to that. And the half shape allows you to create rectangles as well as squares.
And that's it...a nice, cheerful Christmas card.
Don't know about you but I'm looking forward to having a little break from making Christmas cards. I'm hoping to get the rest of mine out of the way by the end of the weekend and then I'm going to be having a bit of fun making whatever I want...and then starting on the Christmas cards again after Boxing Day, lol.
Take care everyone, and keep warm.
