Kraftyhands DT Card - Theme is 'Charmed.'

Hi Folks!

Have you missed me?  Well...have ya???  I've got the hump as me and my little boy have been over in Yorkshire on holiday for a few days...and now we've had to come back so I'm not happy!  BUT at least I have my crafty gear all around me again...just wish we were in Yorkshire with it all over there with me, lol.

I've been doing a little bit of designing while we've been away, so have to make those cards up.  In the meantime it's time to start the October challenge over at Kraftyhands, and this month the theme is 'Charmed,' where we'd like you to add a charm to your card.

So here is my card for the design team...hope it inspires you a little and that you can join us over at  the Kraftyhands Challenge

All the wonderful elements for this card are from Crafters Companion's Christmas in Mulberry Woods CD (it's gorgeous!) which is available from the Kraftyhands shop which can be found here  If you don't already have it, then you definitely need it.  The little critters in this cd are just fabulous.

I used my Martha Stewart around the page Aspen punches to create the easel base.  I have done a tutorial on how to do these, so please click on the tutorial link at the top of the page and give them a try.

Once the base easel is made, it's basically as much matting and layering as you like.  There's a fair amount on this one, but because of the lovely easel base and the fabulous artwork, very little embellishment is needed...just a simple bow (taken from the Mulberry Woods Cd) and a gorgeous snowflake charm from my stash.

So come on...give the Kraftyhands challenge a try.  The prize is a £20 voucher to spend in the Kraftyhands shop, and there are a lot of things to spend it on.  Your card must be made using something that can be purchased from Kraftyhands either on their site or at a show, so take a look in their shop and see what you can use.  Then give it a go.  Who knows...it could be you looking through deciding how to spend your winnings!

Best of luck everyone.

Take care and happy crafting!
xx
