LOTV Wrap Card.

Hi Folks!

Hope you're all ok?

Sorry, I can't believe it's been so long.  I've been having big laptop problems again and have had to do a reinstallation of Windows on my new laptop...yes, the one which replaced the rubbishy other new one!  Lol.  And after doing that it seemed fine...until I ran Windows updates and immediately got another BSoD!  So I've uninstalled all the updates and will try adding them one by one.  Fingers crossed I'll sort it that way.

Anyway, had some lovely news this morning as I had entered my Teddy Bo card into the Wild Orchid Challenge and I was chosen in the top three so I have added a new blinky to my blog.  Yay!  I'm really pleased with that one as it's such a popular challenge and there are so many very talented people entering.  It's not my favourite card but I'm certainly pleased it did so well in that challenge.

Today's card is a Lili of the Valley one which I will be entering into their challenge which is for cards which are not square.

As you can see, it's a wrap card made using Spellbinders Label 4 dies and a Martha Stewart punch.

I have started with the largest of the Grand Labels 4 dies and cut out the darker shade of pink card (it is pink but looks more red in the photo), then the next size down to cut the paler pink card and the patterned paper (from my stash).  I then glued the paler pink card to the darker pink card, and the paper was glued to the back of the darker pink card...if that makes sense.

I then used my Martha Stewart scoreboard (I'm such a name dropper!  Lol) to score in two inches from each end to create the folds, and folded it so that the paper is on the inside.

I then made a wrap using the Martha Stewart punch and cut it to a length to form a loop to go around the card.

I then used the smaller Spellbinders Labels 4 dies to cut out smaller shapes for the topper, and then to cut out the LOTV topper image, which was then layered up onto the die cuts, then glued to the wrap band.

The glitter flowers on the corners are from Papermania and are much prettier in the flesh than in the pic...and they come with the faux gem already in place.

And that's it...simples!

These wraps make great invitations as well, and look very beautiful in wedding colours.

I'm entering this into the Lili of the Valley Challenge with the theme of 'anything but a square.'

Happy crafting everyone.
xx
