LOTV Christmas Easel.

Hi everyone!

Hope you're all ok and keeping busy?  Have fun in the sun?  Well watch out as snow's on the way!  Lol.

I've been busy, busy, busy lately.  Me and my little lad are planning on moving to Yorkshire in the coming months (hopefully before the summer holidays so we don't have to endure the local kids playing right under our lounge window, grrrr), so have to get this place sorted, continue with my boy's schooling and I've been doing lots of crafting.  Thank god for crafting as it's helping me no end.  I've been working on lots of ideas (watch this space) and doing a few commissions, but I'm going to make sure I find time to do something most days that can go on here now.  Time to get back to business, as they say.

Today's card features an adorarable Lili of the Valley Christmas stamp!  Woohoo!  It's CHRIST-MAS! :oD

This is one of my favourite stamps ever.  I absolutely adore it and the critters are sooo cute.  It's also lovely and easy to cololur...the bunnies ARE coloured, just with very pale grey shading.  I've used promarkers for this one.

The rest of it is very simple.  I've used my favourite Spellbinder dies, and some beautiful red pearlescent card which I have rather a lot of but it is gorgeous.

The sentiment is stamped (really need to get all my stamps organised as I have so many I don't know what I've got!) and the snowflakes were cut on the Silhouette and then glittered.

So a nice card but nothing exciting and new today.  But keep watching...I have some very different cards planned.

I'll be on here tomorrow with another card, so please look in.
Lexie's back!!!!!  :oD

PS.  I've resigned my position as a Design Team member for the Scrapbook Stamp Society.  With all I have going on with my little business and homelife I couldn't cope with that commitment as well right now.  But once we're settled in our new home, watch out craft world 'cause here I come!

  3. Hi Lexie how nice to see you back. Is that a Labels 1 die that you have used. I have just bought a Happy Cut and am waiting for the Labels 1 dies to arrive. Love the colours you have used, that is a really nice red card as some reds are a bit drab. Hope things are going well for you and that you can get yourself settled in a nice area soon xxxxx

    1. Hi Carrie,

hope you're having fun with the Happy cut!

The dies I've used on this card are the Labels 4, which are available in small, large and Grand. The small and large have a smaller difference between sizes which means that you can have narrower matting layers.

The labels 1 dies are available in the same sizes and they're the more squarish shaped ones like I've used in this card - http://lexiesblogstardate.blogspot.co.uk/2012/02/house-mouse-easel-card.html

That's another of my favourite shapes and is so useful.

And thank you for the good wishes...it means a lot.

    2. Thanks for the information Lexie. Have to save for some more dies as I have been playing with the Happy Cut and find I can use it for short periods so hopefully I will be able to make a few more cards. Thanks again
