Scalloped Edge Beatrix Potter Card

Hi everyone!

Hope you're all ok and keeping busy?

Today's card is in one of my favourite styles which I've not done for a while - or that's how it seems anyway, lol.  I've chosen to use an image from Crafters Companion's Miss Tiggywinkle CD featuring, of course, the beautiful work of Beatrix Potter.

Awwww...isn't Mrs T lovely?  How could anyone resist a hedgehog?

I started with a 6x6 (approx) scalloped edge base card and used papers from the CD and then colour picked from the topper for the matting layer.  The inside matches the front as far as the background is concerned.

I have cut some borders out of Papermania Textured Card to frame the top and bottom of the image, then created a sentiment to match the card.  Then I have embellished with Wild Orchid roses and a silver filigree corner.  I have cut some thorny bits to put under the roses with my Spellbinders dies and finished off with faux pearls from my stash.

I love making these cards.

Take care everyone
Big hugs.
