A Christmas Wish Snowflake Card

Hi everyone!

Hope you're all well?

Having such a lovely time here on the island.  Had a cracking walk yesterday along what I call the Track at the Back (behind our flat).  It's a disused railway and goes all the way to Ventnor but we didn't walk quite that far.  It's so beautiful along there...takes you along through The Downs and there are lots of footpaths off it for exploring when we're a bit fitter.  But we only have to walk a couple of hundred yards before we're in the countryside...and there are the most gorgeous Highland Cattle along there AND we get to see the donkeys in the donkey sanctuary (across the field).  See how lucky we are living here?  Still can't believe it.  :o)

Today I have strayed from my usual path and created a very simple but, I think, effective Christmas card.

For this card, the centrepiece is this lovely verse which I found on Crafts U Print, which I printed onto supersmooth card.  I thought it was perfect and it also sits very nicely in the space I wanted it to sit in.

I have used some red and gold matting card from my stash.
and some pearl drops from my stash.

Don't forget that you have until 6pm tonight to get your cards in for the
current Scribble and Scrap Challenge.  I am planning on extending it until 6pm Saturday nights from the next challenge so a whole extra day for you to get your entries in.

Take care and happy crafting!
