Eleanor & Pickles - Egyptian.

Hi Folks!

Hope you're ok and all been busy crafting.  I certainly have.  I'm busy doing lots of different things which I can't blog so my blog posts are becoming fewer.  Never mind...I'm having masses of crafty fun and it's keeping me out of mischief.

Today's card features Heather Valentin's gorgeous duo, Eleanor & Pickles.  Eleanor & Pickles are Heather's creations and anything you see that's similar out there are just cheap imitations.  This time the intrepid pair have gone way back to the time of the Ancient Egyptians!

This one's very easy and quick to colour and I've used my Promarkers (and a few Copics!) as follows.

Eleanor's skin:  Copics E00, E11 and E21
Hair:  Walnut, Cocoa and Cinnamon
Eyes: Marine, Turquoise and Cool Aqua
Lips: Antique Pink and Baby Pink
Pickles: Emerald, Apple and Meadow Green
Pickles' Eyes: Cool Aqua and Cool Grey 1
Eleanor's Dress:  Satin, Ivory and Blender
Gold:  Amber, Gold and Mustard
Rubies: Ruby
Pickle's Tongue:  Antique Pink and Baby Pink
Eleanor's Sandals: Walnut, Cocoa and Cinnamon.

This really is a stunning digi as I'm sure you'll agree.  It is ONLY available from Heather's Lacy Sunshine  store.  New digis are being added often so please visit often.

I have used gold mirri card (from stash) and papers from Debbi Moore's lovely Egyptian Promise CD.  The flowers were cut from red (to match the rubies which you can hardly see in the pic) Papermania Textured cardstock using Marianne dies, and the leaves were cut from gold mirri, also using a Marianne die.  The brads are from my stash.

The challenge still has until 6 pm to run, so if you would like to enter (and we'd love to see your projects!) please pop over and take a look here.  You don't have to use one of Heather's digis to enter and the prize for this first challenge is a $30 voucher to spend at Lacy Sunshine.

I have entered this card into the following challenges:
