Eleanor & Pickles - Oops, Wrong Skates!

Hi Folks!

Hope you've all had a really great Christmas and that Santa brought you all you asked for.

We had a lovely time and those mince pies went down very well indeed...especially with a nice big glass of hazelnut Baileys!  Mmmmmmmmm.

Today's card is a winter one but it's for a winter birthday, though it could also be used for Christmas.  It's a Heather Valentin digi and is ONLY available from Heather herself at Lacy Sunshine.  NO ONE else has any authorisation to sell any of her digis, so please do not purchase elsewhere.  Also, please watch out for tacky imitations of the Eleanor & Pickles characters.  Support our fabulous artists and not the fraudsters.

I'm sure you'll agree that Heather has excelled herself with this one...I love it!

This image was so lovely to colour and you can use any colours you want.  I tend to play safe, but Heather herself uses much more vivid colours which look fantastic.  With these characters you can colour them exactly how you like.

I've coloured this image using my promarkers, and this time I've used slightly darker colours for Pickles so he doesn't look yellow in the pics.  Think he's just about right in this one.  They look so cute - but silly them!  They're wearing the wrong skates!  Doh!

The paper is from My Craft Studios Violet Christmas CD (Papercraft Library) and I've colour picked from the paper to get the matting colour.

The gorgeous, blue faux gems are from my stash and the snowflakes were cut on my Cameo and then glittered.

The sentiments were created in my MCS software and they are printed in dark blue so they weren't too harsh.  I used my Spellbinders dies to cut them out.

I'm entering this card into the following challenges:
